Youth Mental Health Series: Calming Back to School Anxiety

Learn how to help prepare your child for returning to in-person learning. Gain strategies to help your child manage their own fears and anxiety during and after school. This program will be presented in real-time via Zoom. A question and answer opportunity will follow the presentation. Program is presented by Minnesota’s National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Tuesday, April 6 | 6:30 PM: Ending the Silence 
“Ending the Silence” is a one hour class for high school students that talks about mental health, mental illness, suicide prevention, where to get help, and how to end the silence around mental illness. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend.

Tuesday, May 4 | 6:30 PM: Anxiety, Stress and Coping for Teens
“Anxiety, Stress, and Coping” is a one hour class for middle and high school students that talks about where stress and anxiety come from, positive coping strategies for stress and anxiety, when anxiety may actually be an anxiety disorder, and where to get help. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend.
