Join us for engaging storytimes for children and their families and caregivers, specifically designed with early literacy learning in mind.

Wednesday Preschool Storytimes

Wednesdays in September – November:

This fall, join us for Preschool Storytimes on Wednesdays at 10:30 AM at the library. We will explore stories, songs, poems and more to encourage the development of early literacy skills.

Sep. 7: Music Together in the Valley
Sep. 14 & 21: Miss Alisa
Sep. 28: Miss Kim & Baby Bear
Oct. 5: Music Together in the Valley
Oct. 12, 19, 26: Miss Kim & Baby Bear
Nov. 2: Music Together in the Valley
Nov, 9, 16, 23, 30: Miss Kim & Baby Bear

Beginning September 28, storytimes will move inside. Repair work has started on the library’s 120-year-old roof which limits safe use of the 4th Street Lawn. Work is expected to take 3-4 weeks and storytimes will be held inside during this time.

In November, all storytimes will be held inside for the season.

Please plan to follow current guidelines for group events attended by young children. No registration is required.

Baby & Toddler Storytime

Selected Thursdays at 10:30 AM in September, October & November:

Enjoy an interactive storytime with your child that includes early literacy fun with books, songs, fingerplays and body movement. Ages 0-3. No registration is required.

Programs will be held inside in Margaret Rivers A&B, located on the upper level of the library. Please plan to follow current guidelines for group events attended by young children.

Second Saturday Storytimes

Saturday, September 10, October 8, and November 12:

Join Baby Bear and Miss Kim at 10:30 AM on the Second Saturday of September and October for stories, songs, poems and more to encourage the development of early literacy skills.

In October and November, programs will be held inside.
