A library card is not needed to use resources in the library. You will need a library card to check out books, e-books, DVDs, CDs, or reserve materials using the library catalog. Residents of Stillwater, Bayport, and other areas served by the http://www.washcolib.org/ are eligible for a free library card to borrow library materials and use for other library services
Checklist of items needed to apply for a library card:
- A library card application (available at the library)
- Current and valid ID with photo, name and local address (Parent/guardian ID is used for children at the same address)
Note:
- Under the law of the State of Minnesota, Stillwater Public Library is required to charge an annual fee to non-Minnesota residents for borrowing. Library cards may be purchased for $60 annually.
